There are two types of classes- both with which can also include a recording. Please see a full description below, but in short:.
- Live Class: 2-way classroom in which you can hear and see your clients via video and also communicate via chat. A webcam is not required, but recommended for client participation. There is a 30 person limit for this type of classroom.
- Live Stream: 1-way classroom in which your clients can only see you and can only participate via chat. Webcams are not used by clients - only the instructor. There is no limit to the number of participants.
Live Class with Recording
A live 2-way webcam class that may or may not include the class recording. You can see and interact directly with your clients and your clients can see and hear you and other clients. Clients are not required to have a webcam, although it is highly recommended so that there can be more interaction with both instructors and clients and there can be feedback. Clients buying the class may attend both the live class and access the recorded video after the class. NOTE: Clients only have access to the recording for the specific class time that he/she purchased. Instructors must click the Record button in the classroom in order for the recording to be saved.
Live Stream with Recording
Clients can see and hear the Instructor live and ask questions via live text chat. But the Instructor cannot see or hear clients and clients cannot hear or see other clients. No webcam is required for Live Stream classes. This is ideal for Instructors who want to stream their in studio classes live to allow clients to follow along.
NOTE: Clients only have access to the recording for the specific class time that he/she purchased. Instructors must click the Record button in the classroom in order for the recording to be saved.
It is completely up to the instructor whether to record their classes. If the class is recorded, students who had previously signed up for the live class get automatic access to the video.
